The Peddle buyer account grants access to a vast marketplace of customers wanting offers on their cars, valuable real-time and historical local pricing, and access to consult with expert sales, account management, and support teams for hands-on assistance and training with the setup and maintenance of the account.
Peddle provides a great service for both its partners and the customers who visit the site for an offer. To ensure this, certain behavior is expected in order to maintain access to our service. Partners that do not follow these expectations may see reduced volume or have the account deactivated. This deactivation could be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity of the situation.
There could be unforeseen circumstances that lead to deactivation for reasons outside of these. The following requirements are necessary to maintain access to the Peddle account: communication, account usage, pricing, and performance.
Communication
Things can get busy, so if Peddle reaches out, please reply to communications within 1 business day. Peddle promises to do the same.
When could the account be deactivated?
If Peddle is unable to reach a partner after multiple attempts, the account may be deactivated and unable to receive assignments until contact is made.
Account usage
Peddle provides training on best practices and the tools that a partner needs to use to be successful. Log in to the account regularly to maintain assignments. Regular usage leads to a better understanding of the system leading to increased assignments and keeping open communications on the vehicles received.
When could the account be deactivated?
If there are repeat issues with unworked assignments, the volume may be reduced or the account deactivated while additional training is provided.
Pricing
Partners set their own pricing, but ultimately bids need to be competitive and attractive to the customers in the market to receive the best assignments available. Peddle will assist with understanding market pricing, but any final decisions regarding pricing are up to the account.
When could the account be deactivated?
If set pricing does not result in an account receiving more than one vehicle per month, the account may be deactivated. This depends on the situation and locale, and the sales or account manager will consult with the account to find the best solution before this occurs.
Performance
Peddle’s goals are to ensure our partners and customers get the best service available by minimizing cancellations. Certain scenarios will take place that may cause cancellations that are out of the account’s control. As picking up 100% of assignments is not realistic, Peddle looks at an account’s performance relative to the market in which they are located. Completed conversion is an important value that is reviewed and discussed with our partners. If an account begins dropping below the area’s average, the sales or account manager will consult with the account to assist in finding the best solution.
When could the account be deactivated?
The average for each market differs, so Peddle makes sure to let our partners know where they stand and where the market is currently at. If an account falls below the minimum for the area, the volume may be reduced, or the account may be deactivated until the sales or account manager can further assist the account with getting above the average for the area. If a low completion percentage persists, the account may be permanently deactivated.
What happens after deactivation?
If the account gets temporarily deactivated, reach out to the sales or account manager to discuss reactivation. Additional guidelines or other specific actions may need to be followed before the account is reactivated. Depending on the reason and severity of deactivation, it may be permanent.
